Job Description

CNC Machine Operator - Detroit, Michigan
3-Month Contract position
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Day Shift position - 10 hour shift
Position Description of the CNC Machine Operator:
Not assembly style, it is more manual as they move the heavy (40 lbs.) parts from the CNC machine to the next machine. It can be physically demanding as some loading is done at or able six feet. Our customer is in the process of utilizing the lift assist, but at this time when employees are onboarded, they are slowly transitioning new hires into this type of lifting and doing so ergonomically to prevent injury.
Required PPE :

Employee must bring their own safety shoes (steel toe or composite), and prescription safety glasses if they are needed

Standard safety glasses and gloves will be provided

Hearing protection is not required, employees can bring their own if they would like
Education Requirements of the CNC Machine Operator:

High School Diploma or GED

Must have three-years of CNC Machining experience
A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
